Hi everyone! My name is Avery, and I am a sophomore at McMurtry majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Engineering Design. I've taken ENGI 120, 200, 210, and 300, and my previous engineering projects have been in mechanical and bioengineering since I am interested in designing medical devices. I am both a Writing Mentor for ENGI 120 and a communication coach in the School of Engineering, so I can offer guidance for technical writing, presentations, posters, and interviews. Outside of school, I love to dance (I'm a member of Rice Dance Theatre), try new coffee shops/restaurants, and go thrifting.
